Important: Contraindications

Please consult a physician, physiotherapist or midwife to assess suitability before use.

Do not use if you have

  • High-risk pregnancy
  • Any vaginal inflammation (infectious or non-infectious)
  • Any vaginal bleeding
  • Condyloma or other infectious pathology in the vagina or vaginal entrance area
  • Vaginal injury
  • Any bladder inflammation
  • Uterine prolapse
  • Genital herpes
  • Pre-cancers or tumour pathologies of the cervix, vagina or external genitalia
  • Within the first six weeks following childbirth, gynaecological interventions or operations (including genital laser treatment)

Use with extra caution if you have

  • Varicose veins in the vagina or external genitalia
  • Low-lying placenta
  • Reduced sensitivity of the vagina or external genitalia (neurological disease, painkillers, alcohol or drug use)
  • Previously treated vaginal inflammation (vaginal fragility may persist)
  • Previous vaginal surgery (scarring may affect elasticity)
  • Lichen sclerosis of the external genitalia
  • Cancer in the pelvic area
